About Me
Throughout my time in sports media, I've reported on everything from club-level pickleball to March Madness. I made it my mission to treat every assignment like Game 7 of the World Series. It's a philosophy that I developed during my time at Montclair State University.
On my first day of college, I joined The Montclarion, the university's student-run newspaper. My impact as part of the sports team was immediate, and throughout my time with the organization, I've covered dozens of events while building rapport with the players and coaches who I have profiled. As I rose through the ranks, I became assistant sports editor before finally taking the reins as a senior. I worked to expand coverage to a wider range of sports, providing a consistent stream of content and broadening the section's social media presence. The most rewarding part of the job was being able to collaborate with fellow journalists while mentoring and helping younger writers.
I also became a key contributor to 90.3 WMSC Upper Montclair as a certified board operator. I hosted and served as a desk analyst for the station's sports coverage. WMSC's flagship morning show, The Morning Buzz provided me with the opportunity to report on news and give commentary on subjects such as current events and entertainment. I co-hosted a weekly sports and pro wrestling talk show called In The Ring.
My time at WMSC marked the beginning of my announcing career as well. I became the station's lead announcer in 2023 before joining the Red Hawk Sports Network the following year. My goal is to bring the high energy levels of the athletes and coaches into the booth for every game. In addition to play-by-play and color commentary, I conducted sideline interviews, produced news segments, and contributed to the network's studio show, Inside the Nest.
Outside of media, I am passionate about cooking, film, and supporting my favorite teams. As a native New Jerseyan, I have a deep love of my home state and the many wonderful towns, beaches and parks that I enjoy exploring. Although I'm far removed from my years as a high school football player and wrestler, I still enjoy playing pickup games and competing with my friends.
